BESPOKE FIRE PLANS OR FIRE POLICIES

All premises should have a Fire Policy in place detailing all the fire safety measures and practices. This in general would be covered under Articles 19 (provision of information) and Article 21 (training) of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.

 

It is also advantageous to have a simple ‘Fire Plan’ at fire points for each area or each storey of a building to clearly identify the means of escape routes, Fire Extinguisher locations, Fire Alarm Call Points, Assembly Points and any other relevant information for a particular area, group of employees or process being carried out.
